INFLUENZA VACCINES 

Influenza vaccinations for H1N1 and seasonal influenza are combined this year.  We receive our vaccine supply normally in September.  Please call our office for influenza vaccine availability and appointment times with the nurse.  Patients who are in the office to see the physician during flu season can receive the influenza vaccine upon request.  Please note that you must be an established patient with our office in order to receive the influenza vaccine.  If your child is covered by Medicaid, please note that we required to use the state vaccine supply provided by the North Carolina State Immunization Branch.

PREVENTIVE EXAMS

We encourage our patients to obtain a complete preventive exam once per year.  Please check with your insurance carrier for coverage terms.  Medicare will begin coverage of annual preventive exams in January of 2011.
