New Patients

We are very glad you are considering us as the medical home for your child(ren).  Here are a few important items to remember when first scheduling your appointment with us.

In order to become a new patient, you will need to acquire a UNC Health Care Medical Record number. To do this you will need to follow these instructions:

  • Contact our Customer Call Center locally at (919) 966-1234 or toll free at (866) 595-3175 between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5  p.m. Monday – Friday.
  • Once you have your medical record number, please call our office at (919) 960-5154 and request an appointment.  We will schedule you as soon as possible.
  • If you presently have health insurance, you are expected to bring your current insurance card with you at the time of your visit. If you are not able to bring your insurance card with you, and we cannot verify your insurance with your insurance company, we may need to re-schedule your appointment.
  • Please bring a list of all of your current medications with you to your clinic appointment.
  • If lab work is performed during your visit to our clinic you will receive a separate bill from UNC McLendon Labs.
