INFLUENZA VACCINES

The H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccines are combined this year.  This will provide a convenient and effective method of protection for children.  We provide chargeable vaccines to all children with private insurance and Tricare.  We are required to provide state supply vaccine to patients covered by Medicaid or are uninsured.  The state supply is provided by the North Carolina State Immunization Branch.

You may request a vaccine during your child's appointment with the physician or request a flu shot appointment with the nurse.  Please note that your child must be an established patient in our office to be eligible for a flu shot and must be schedulued to either see the physician or nurse.  Contact our office for more details on flu vaccine supply and special appointment times. 

PREVENTIVE EXAMS

Below is the recommended schedule by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).  During preventive exams or well child checks, we assess the child's physical, emotional and developmental progress and address any milestone issues or concerns.  We also provide recommended immunizations.
