NEW GRADUATE NURSES

DEAR SENIOR NURSING STUDENT/NEW GRADUATE:

THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR THE NEW GRADUATE RESIDENCY PROGRAM WILL BE OPENING SOON FOR SUMMER 2012 START DATES.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO THE REQUIRED SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTS!

In preparation for the upcoming Nurse Residency Program openings, please begin collecting the following three documents:

1. A *REFERENCE CHECKLIST completed by any nursing faculty at your nursing school. Checklist is to be signed by the instructor.
2. A *REFERENCE CHECKLIST completed by a nursing faculty at your nursing school who supervised you in the clinical setting (not the preceptor at your clinical setting unless your preceptor and your professor are one in the same). Checklist is to be signed by the instructor.
3. Your official transcript must be in the original sealed envelope. We only need the transcript from the school that will be awarding you your nursing degree and not from any previous schools. Please do not wait until the end of the semester to request a transcript.
